Nitish outlines five-year vision for Bihar during last leg of Samriddhi Yatra

Nitish Kumar, Bihar Chief Minister, addressed his first public meeting since filing nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha election. He reviewed ongoing projects and directed officials to expedite their completion in Supaul and Madhepura districts. Kumar highlighted the progress made in education, employment, and law and order over the past 20 years. He emphasized that the pace of development would be further accelerated with central government support. Samrat Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister of the BJP, and Vijay Kumar Choudhary, State Minister and senior leader of the JD(U), expressed their confidence in Kumar's continued leadership for Bihar's development.
