Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC) leaders affiliated with the NCP(SP) have criticized a recent meeting convened by A.K. Saseendran, P.M. Suresh Babu, and their supporters at the Government Guest House. The NYC leaders, citing ethical concerns about Mr. Saseendran's eight previous election victories from Elathur, urged him to step aside and nominate LDF convener Mukkom Mohammed as a candidate instead.
