The newly constructed Kavanad Mukkattukadavu–Fatima Island and Fatima Island–Arulappan Thuruthu bridges, built at a cost of ₹25.7 crore, feature dedicated carriageways and pedestrian walkways for safety and convenience. The projects are expected to ease daily commutes for residents and boost the region's economic potential.
