
130 Maoists surrender before Telangana Chief Minister in Hyderabad
A. Revanth Reddy, Telangana Chief Minister and Home Minister, received over 130 Maoist members, including those linked to former senior leader Tippiri Thirupati alias Devuji, who surrendered at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Hyderabad on Saturday. The surrendered individuals handed over a total of 266 weapons, including INSAS rifles, AK-47s, and grenade launchers. The DGP stated that with these returns, the CPI (Maoist)'s Telangana State Committee has effectively become defunct.
