CM Naidu calls for speedy execution of prioritised irrigation projects, especially Polavaram

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed officials of the Water Resources Department (WRD) to provide regular updates on the Polavaram project, emphasizing quality construction and adherence to standards. He urged constant feedback from international experts and a time-bound schedule for completion, including prioritizing the Left Main Canal works and the Diaphragm Wall (D-Wall) construction. Naidu also stressed the need for timely rehabilitation of affected families and proper coordination with the Finance Department to ensure project funding.
