Only 13% funds given to agri and allied sectors that involve 63% population: KRRS

Badagalapura Nagendra, KRRS State president, argued that this lack of funding hindered agricultural development and highlighted the government's failure to implement pre-election promises regarding land reforms and anti-cow slaughter legislation. While welcoming some positive measures like an irrigation project and organic farming initiatives, KRRS remained critical of the budget's overall approach.
