
Nishant Kumar to join JD(U) on March 8, as Nitish promises to stick around
Nitish Kumar, the Bihar Chief Minister, met with his JD(U) party leaders to assure them of his continued support and commitment to the state's development after his nomination for the Rajya Sabha. The meeting also saw the proposal for Nishant Kumar, Nitish Kumar's son, to join the party on March 8th and embark on a tour across the state. Sanjay Kumar Jha, the JD(U) working president, proposed Nishant Kumar's membership, which was supported by all party leaders. The meeting also saw the re-election of Umesh Kushwaha as the Bihar JD(U) president for his third consecutive term.
