The UDF’s Puthuyuga Yatra, led by V.D. Satheesan, concluded in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday with a public meeting featuring Rahul Gandhi. The 25-day journey involved 121 public meetings and the release of policy documents addressing various sectors like health and education. The UDF engaged with ordinary people facing hardships, including Endosulfan victims and job aspirants, to inform their manifesto and identify priority issues for the state if they win power. The meeting was attended by prominent leaders from both UDF and Congress, including K.C. Venugopal, Deepa Dasmunshi, and Sunny Joseph.
