Kerala: Legal action against P.K. Sasi under consideration, says CPI(M) Palakkad secretary Suresh Babu
E.N. Suresh Babu, CPI(M) Palakkad district secretary, is considering legal action against expelled party leader P.K. Sasi after Sasi accused him of involvement in spirit smuggling. Sasi was demoted from the district committee to the branch level in 2024 and has been critical of the party leadership in the district. Senior CPI(M) leader N N Krishnadas, a former CPI(M) MP, defended Sasi's claims but emphasized that the party follows its traditions and methods. He stated that many individuals have left the party and returned later, and the Left Front will use all its strength to retain power in Kerala.
