
Karnataka to invest ₹1 crore on training guides, auto and taxi drivers to enhance tourism
Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, announced a ₹1 crore investment to train tourist guides, taxi and auto drivers, and security police staff. The government will also train 1,000 firms designated for heritage preservation and develop a comprehensive Coastal Tourism Development Plan. Additionally, plans include developing Anjanadri Hill into a world-class destination and the Gadag-Kappatagudda-Lakkundi tourism circuit.
