Meenambal Sivaraj, a pioneering figure in the fight for SC rights and women's empowerment, dedicated her life to social reform. She married an activist and became closely connected with leaders like B.R. Ambedkar, Periyar E.V. Ramasamy, and Jawaharlal Nehru. She served as the first Dalit woman to join the All India Scheduled Castes Federation, advocating for greater rights and opportunities for SCs. Meenambal Sivaraj also worked tirelessly for gender equality and women's empowerment, serving as a magistrate and a member of various boards and committees.
