Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi transferred to Bengal
R.N. Ravi, the former Governor of Tamil Nadu, has been transferred to West Bengal to replace C.V. Ananda Bose. The move was announced by Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister, who stated that she was not consulted as per convention. The Union Home Ministry informed M.K. Stalin, Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, of the change. Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla of Manipur will now oversee Tamil Nadu.
