Race heats up for Bihar’s five Rajya Sabha seats with RJD entry

The political race for five Rajya Sabha seats in Bihar is heating up with the NDA aiming to secure all five seats. The RJD has decided to contest, posing a challenge to the NDA's bid. Nishant Kumar, son of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is expected to be nominated for one seat, while Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh might replace Upendra Kushwaha as the nominee for another. The RJD is likely to renominate Mr. Gupta and name Tejashwi Yadav as its candidate in place of Mr. Amarendra Dhari Singh.
