Government failed to ensure MSP for farmers, alleges YSRCP

YSRCP general secretary (Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare) M.V.S. Nagi Reddy accused the NDA government of neglecting farmers' issues and making false declarations in the Assembly. He claimed that the government failed to ensure remunerative prices for chickpea cultivators, despite an announced MSP of ₹5,800 per quintal, and criticized delays in e-crop registration and procurement processes. Nagi Reddy urged immediate action from the government to secure additional procurement approvals and protect farmers from financial distress.
