Amit Shah concludes his three-day visit to Bihar’s Seemanchal

Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, convened a high-level meeting in Purnea district to address security concerns along the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar. The meeting focused on strengthening border management, enhancing vigilance against illegal activities, and coordinated inter-agency action. Shah directed the verification of reported death cases, deletion of inaccurate information from official records, and a door-to-door survey for migrants. He also emphasized strict enforcement against illegal constructions, encroachments, and financial irregularities. The meeting included directives to ensure compliance by banks, cooperative banks, and Sub Registrar Offices.
