₹600 cr. allocated for Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi, water will reach Anakapalli by June, says Nimmala

Nimmala Rama Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Minister, announced a ₹600 crore budget allocation for the ambitious Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi project, aiming to irrigate 8 lakh acres and provide drinking water to 30 lakh people. The project, originally launched in 2014, will be executed in two phases at an estimated cost of ₹2,022 crore and ₹4,210 crore respectively. Naidu also highlighted the importance of the Polavaram Left Main Canal for North Andhra's agricultural prosperity and criticized the previous YSRCP government's lack of investment in its development.
