Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will lead LDF’s Assembly poll campaign in Kerala, confirms CPI(M) PB

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] announced that Pinarayi Vijayan will lead the Left Democratic Front (LDF) campaign in the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections. M.A. Baby, CPI(M) general secretary, stated that the party would announce its candidate list within a week and emphasized the inclusion of marginalized groups. The PB also condemned the Congress's "physical targeting" of Health Minister Veena George and the Sangh Parivar's attacks on minorities and Dalits. The LDF is expected to expand in other states ahead of the elections.
