Recruitment: Govt succumbed to protest by BJP and job aspirants, claims Ashok

R. Ashok, leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, claimed that the Government issued recruitment orders for 56,000 posts in response to protests organized by the BJP and job aspirants in Dharwad. He criticized the government's handling of the situation, stating that development has suffered due to internal disputes between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar over the Chief Minister’s post. The BJP demanded filling up 2.84 lakh posts, prompting Ashok to warn of a march from Hubbali to Bengaluru if the government does not announce further recruitment orders.
