PM to flag off Mangaluru-Rameswaram Express and Tambaram-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express on March 1
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off four new train services in Madurai on March 1st, including the much-anticipated Mangaluru Central-Rameswaram-Mangaluru Central Express and an Amrit Bharat Express between Tambaram and Mangaluru. The Railway Ministry has yet to finalize details for these new trains but sources indicate the Tambaram-Mangaluru AB Express will operate weekly from Mangaluru Junction, while the Mangaluru Central-Rameswaram-Mangaluru Central Express was sanctioned in April 2024 and is expected to run as a weekly service.
