Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, general secretary of the Congress Party, condemned the arrest of Uday Bhanu Chib, president of the Indian Youth Congress, and six other workers for their shirtless protest at the AI Summit last week. She stated that raising voices against the government, which she claims has compromised India's interests by bowing to global pressure, is a right and heritage passed down from Mahatma Gandhi.
