
Madhyamik admit card can be submitted along with pass certificate, SC clarifies in West Bengal SIR
The Supreme Court clarified that Madhyamik (Class 10) admit cards can be used as proof of birth and parentage during the West Bengal Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The court directed that all unuploaded documents received before February 14th should be submitted by Election Registration Officers/Assistant Election Registration Officers (EROs/AEROs) by February 26th. The court also allowed the Election Commission of India (EC) to publish a voter list in West Bengal on February 28th, with supplementary lists published continuously until nomination for Assembly elections.
