YSRCP to launch agitation for resumption of RLI project from March 1

YSRCP leaders from Annamayya district announced a district-wide agitation demanding the resumption of the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation (RLI) Project. The leaders, led by district president Akepati Amarnath Reddy, accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of stalling the project and claimed that it was nearly 80% complete before being halted. They warned of potential water shortages for Rayalaseema if the project is not revived and threatened to escalate their protests from the district level to village level.
