Former Speaker P. Dhanapal’s son joins TVK in Chennai

D. Lokesh Tamilselvan, son of former AIADMK Speaker P. Dhanapal, joined the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in Chennai, citing dissatisfaction with the AIADMK's treatment of his father. The move comes after Mr. Tamilselvan finished third in the Nilgiris Parliamentary constituency election on an AIADMK ticket. Vijay, president of the TVK, welcomed several other new members to the party, including Cathrine Ezhilmalai and Chakkaravarthy.
