A.P. budget this year shifted gears towards all-round progress: Finance Minister Keshav

Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav stated that the state's public debt stood at nearly ₹1.20 lakh crore even after 20 months of the coalition government's formation, a situation inherited from the YSRCP dispensation. He attributed the improved financial situation to central support and emphasized the need for continuity of governance by voting for the TDP-Jana Sena Party-BJP alliance. Keshav highlighted efforts to revive stalled schemes, renegotiate loan terms, improve efficiency, and prioritize welfare and development. He also mentioned projects like the Amaravati and Polavaram irrigation projects, industrial development, and the masterplan for the Visakhapatnam Economic Region.
