Eviction notices to Yadamane families: Madhu Bangarappa says the government will not evict any family

Minister for School Education Madhu Bangarappa stated that the State Government will not evict families residing in Yadamane, Sagar taluk, despite recent eviction notices issued by the Forest Department. The notices were based on old orders from 2012-13 when the BJP was in power. The families have sought land under the Forest Rights Act but lack necessary documents to claim it. Bangarappa assured that the government will consider their appeal and take appropriate action.
