Museums are resistance against distortion of history, says Pinarayi Vijayan

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the AKG Memorial Museum in Kerala, emphasizing its role in resisting attempts to distort history and undermine democratic values. The museum, built on a 3.3-acre plot near the Anjarakandi river, features six galleries showcasing AKG’s struggles, role in the freedom movement, parliamentary interventions, and mass agitations. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of museums as spaces upholding truth against misinformation and warned against attempts to suppress movements against feudalism and imperialism.
