KCCI submits pre-Budget suggestions to CM
The Karnatak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Hubballi, presented a list of suggestions to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during preliminary Budget consultations for the 2026-27 State Budget. The KCCI president, G.K. Adappagowda, urged the government to focus on North Karnataka's development, particularly in the twin cities, and requested support for pending railway projects, APMC market reforms, and a manufacturing city similar to Bengaluru's Electronic City. The Chamber also proposed a ₹5 crore grant for an industrial exhibition, INCOMEX-2026, and a ₹500-crore package for Amargol APMC Yard development.
