Rajeev Chandrasekhar, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kerala, criticized the Left Front government for its alleged failure to develop the state during its 10-year rule. He accused the government of blaming the Union government and attempting to mislead the public with such claims ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. Chandrasekhar also highlighted the stalled AIIMS project in Kozhikode, citing the government's failure to acquire the land despite it being shortlisted in 2017. The NDA leadership camp was presided over by Thushar Vellappally, convener of the Kerala unit.
