Rahul Gandhi uninterested in Parliament; ‘tutored by NGOs’ on revival of Congress: Kiren Rijiju

Kiren Rijiju, Parliamentary Affairs Minister, stated that Rahul Gandhi is not interested in the smooth functioning of Parliament and has been stalling the House due to guidance from NGOs who believe his party's fortunes will improve. He claimed that smaller parties are unhappy with Gandhi and some have even refused to sign a motion against the Speaker, while also asserting that the ruling alliance has no intention of taking further steps to appease the Congress. The Union Minister emphasized that the opposition is not united in its actions, as many members of other political parties want the House to function properly.
