Concerns persist over SIR despite low number of omissions post hearing, say parties

Political parties in Kerala are expressing concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls, despite only 3,058 voters being found ineligible during the verification phase. Congress, CPI(M) and IUML members expressed doubts about the process, particularly regarding voters placed on the ASD list without valid reasons. The BJP, which supports the SIR, maintains that there was no political intervention. The final list is scheduled for February 21st.
