P.K. Sasi stays away from Govindan’s march
P.K. Sasi, the CPI(M) dissident leader and Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) chairperson, skipped the north Kerala leg of the Left Democratic Front’s (LDF) Vikasana Munnetta Jatha. M.V. Govindan, the party's State secretary, stated that Sasi remained in the branch committee after his demotion due to disagreements with the leadership and would not comment on the government's testimony regarding the Sabarimala issue. Govindan also criticized the audit report on the global Ayyappa meet as flawed and incomplete, promising a response only upon receiving the full report.
