
KLA, T.N. govt. sign MoU for R&D hub, innovation centre in Chennai
KLA Corporation, through its India subsidiary KLA India, and the Tamil Nadu government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a research and development (R&D) hub and innovation center in Chennai. The 12-acre campus will be an investment of ₹3,510 crore and is expected to create employment opportunities for approximately 4,000 professionals over the next decade. The signing took place on Friday in the Tamil Nadu Secretariat with participation from Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Minister T.R.B. Rajaa, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and other senior officials.
