Giving 2.20 lakh digital title deeds in unrecognised habitations in two years is a record for Karnataka, says Revenue Minister

The Karnataka government is set to provide digital title deeds to over 2.2 lakh families in unrecognised habitations, marking a record achievement for the state. Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda stated that this initiative will benefit an estimated 10-12 lakh people and is part of the government's efforts to address the lack of recognition for these communities. The digital title deeds are tamper-proof and provide ownership confirmation, including access to e-swathu records in the panchayat. The program aims to address the historical exclusion of these habitations from official records by providing them with basic infrastructure and amenities.
