West Bengal BJP welcomes MHA directive of singing all stanzas of Vande Mataram

The Union Home Ministry has mandated that all six stanzas of the National song Vande Mataram be sung first when the National Song and National Anthem are played together. The decision, welcomed by the West Bengal BJP, comes after years of controversy surrounding the omission of some stanzas from official functions. Trinamool Congress spokesperson Arup Chakraborty argues that this move is politically motivated, while BJP leader Samik Bhattacharya accuses the party of hypocrisy for opposing the song.
