Maoism never benefitted society, caused destruction, says Amit Shah

Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, stated that the Maoist menace will be eradicated by March 31st, urging remaining cadres to surrender and join the mainstream. He emphasized a rehabilitation policy for surrendered Naxals, assuring them dignified treatment while warning those continuing violence with severe consequences. Shah highlighted Bastar's development progress since the decline of Maoism, including infrastructure improvements, education initiatives, and economic opportunities. The government aims to make Bastar the most developed tribal-dominated region within five years.
