Will return to Karnataka politics when the time is right, says HDK

H.D. Kumaraswamy, Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, expressed concern over the political situation in Karnataka under the Congress government, stating he would return to State politics when the time is right. He alleged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was targeting him and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, claiming the government had constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to harass them and seize land. He also accused the government of attempting to tarnish their reputations and politically sideline them, asserting the JD(S) would not be weakened despite these actions.
