Congress govt. did nothing but diversion politics in 2 years, says KTR

K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), criticized the Congress government in Telangana for what he called "diversion politics" and alleged that it was engaging in politically motivated investigations. He accused both the Congress and BJP of failing to secure adequate funds for the state and demanded a discussion on investments announced at Davos during the next Assembly session. Rama Rao also praised the widespread protests across Telangana, which included demonstrations in over 12,000 gram panchayats and effigies of the government being burnt in more than 7,000 villages. He dismissed the prolonged questioning of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, stating it was a political stunt and that he cooperated fully with investigators.
