Chief Minister Stalin inaugurates renovated Poompuhar tourism complex

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the renovated Poompuhar tourism complex in Sirkazhi taluk, marking a significant step to enhance tourism infrastructure in the historically important coastal town. The ₹23.6-crore project, executed by the Tourism Department, aimed to improve visitor amenities and address inadequate facilities that had previously limited tourism potential. The facility includes a compound wall, arrival plaza, modern toilets, a cloakroom, gazebo, ticket counters, a tourist information center, a promenade, and parking space.
