BRS cadre stage protests across Telangana against SIT examination of KCR

BRS cadre across Telangana protested against the summoning of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) by the special investigation team (SIT) in a phone-tapping case. The protests included rallies, dharnas, and effigy-burning at several locations, with party leaders alleging political harassment. BRS leaders, including P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, V. Sunitha Laxma Reddy, S. Niranjan Reddy, G. Jagadish Reddy, and KTR, claimed the case was politically motivated and that phone-tapping is legal when done within guidelines set by the Supreme Court. KCR, who was examined as a witness, responded to the protests with a greeting to his supporters.
