Funds for Metro, RRR, Musi projects, expectations from Union Budget run high in State
Telangana Chief Minister A. These include Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II expansion, Musi River rejuvenation, and Regional Ring Road development. The budget is also expected to prioritize states like West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry, with global geopolitical dynamics likely influencing its direction. The state government has been advocating for projects such as a dry port, expressway connecting to Andhra Pradesh's seaport, new airports, railway lines, an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Hyderabad, more Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas, rural housing approvals, enhanced allocations under Central schemes, and fiscal freedom.
