Uttarakhand-like attacks forcing Kashmir youth to look inwards: Omar Abdullah

Omar Abdullah, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Ashok Kaul condemned attacks on Kashmiri people outside of the state. Following an attack on two Kashmiri shawl sellers in Uttarakhand, Abdullah stated that local youth are turning inward for employment opportunities due to these incidents. Mirwaiz called for authorities to ensure the safety of Kashmiris living outside and urged them to address growing harassment and attacks. Sheikh Khursheed, Sajad Lone, and Ashok Koul expressed concern over the lack of response from the J&K Lieutenant Governor, highlighting the need for a more robust approach to protect Kashmiri communities.
