India comes out on top on this: Trump administration on Delhi's trade deal with EU

U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer stated that India appears to be the clear winner of the newly signed trade agreement between the EU and India, gaining increased market access into Europe. He noted that India is likely to benefit from additional immigration rights and lower-cost labor, while the EU seeks alternative markets for its overproduction due to President Trump's focus on domestic production. The deal, which will create a market of two billion people, is expected to reduce tariffs on 99% of Indian exports to the EU and cut duties on over 97% of the EU's exports to India.
