DISCOM ratings improved under coalition government: Energy Minister

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar stated that the coalition government has successfully revived the power sector, which had been weakened under the previous YSR Congress Party regime. He attributed this success to comprehensive reforms implemented by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, which improved DISCOM ratings and financial performance. Mr. Ravi Kumar highlighted measures taken by the government to reduce losses, improve billing and collection efficiency, and ensure timely subsidy releases as key factors in these improvements.
