DISCOM ratings improve under coalition government: Energy Minister

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar stated that the coalition government has successfully revived the power sector, which was weakened during the previous YSR Congress Party regime. He attributed this improvement to comprehensive reforms implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, which led to improved ratings for DISCOMs at the national level. These reforms included reducing technical and commercial losses, improving billing and collection efficiency, and ensuring timely government subsidies.
