Only Bengali migrant Muslims being evicted from Assam: Himanta

He stated that only Bengali-speaking Muslims, referred to as "Miyas," are being evicted and accused the media of spreading rumors. Sarma claimed that the BJP has been in power for 10 years and no evictions have occurred in the hills, while emphasizing the government's focus on providing land rights to hill residents. He also criticized the Congress party, alleging it is pandering to the Muslim community and accused its president, Gaurav Gogoi, of links to Pakistan.
