CPI(M) will take disciplinary action against V. Kunhikrishnan, says M.V. Jayarajan
Allegations of fund misuse and silencing dissent raise concerns about accountability.
M.V. Jayarajan, a CPI(M) State secretariat member, stated that disciplinary action would be taken against party member V. Kunhikrishnan for making public disclosures alleging irregularities in the Payyannur martyrs fund. He asserted that the party had not misused any funds and Mr. Kunhikrishnan's statements were unacceptable. The police have registered cases against over 200 individuals in connection with violent incidents and road blockades in Payyannur town, including 18 CPI(M) workers accused of attacking a Congress demonstration.
