ECI no longer protector of democracy but key participant in 'vote chori' conspiracy: Rahul Gandhi

He alleged that the SIR has been used to manipulate elections and remove votes from communities supporting the Congress party, claiming this is part of a larger pattern across states where SIR has been implemented. The Congress party further accused the ECI of remaining silent while millions of objections were filed under suspicious circumstances, alleging the commission has compromised its responsibility and accountability to the ruling BJP.
