T. Harish Rao, senior leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has demanded a judicial inquiry into alleged irregularities at Singareni Collieries Company Ltd. during the Revanth Reddy regime. He claims that political influence and manipulation of tender processes have resulted in massive financial losses for the company, including excessive costs in solar power projects and inflated explosives supply contracts. He alleges that these irregularities were deliberately designed to favor politically connected bidders and undermine fair competition.
