
PM Modi arrives in Kerala capital, holds roadshow
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Friday (January 23, 2026) to launch developmental projects and flag off new train services. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, and other officials received the Prime Minister upon his arrival at the airport. Mr. Modi will participate in a public meeting organized by the BJP and lay the foundation stone for the CSIR-NIIST Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Hub. The visit is significant ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
