
Fadnavis refutes allegations of domestic MoUs being signed at Davos
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced a significant increase in foreign direct investment (FDI) during his visit to Davos. He stated that ₹30 lakh crore worth of MoUs were signed, with ₹10 lakh crore already in the pipeline. The agreements involve investments from 18 countries and focus on sectors like quantum computing, AI, data centers, healthcare, and green steel. Fadnavis also announced India's first Innovation City near Mumbai, to be developed by Tata Sons, and a circular economy model for Mumbai to address pollution issues. He highlighted that 75% of MoUs signed in 2025 have been successfully implemented.
